Staycation in Ajman

June 2-3, 2018

Last ramadan, my friend and I were planning to go somewhere to escape the hot weather in Dubai and unwind. It’s good that she was on vacation leave because usually our schedules are not the same due to our nature of work.

We initially planned to go to Sri Lanka because there are cheap plane tickets during this period but unfortunately, I cannot take my vacation leave from my work because we will gonna be under staff if I will file for it. There should be enough nurses in our department depends on the doctors on duty.

So, we came up to go somewhere else within UAE. I had an erratic schedule during these days because Dubai Mall, where our clinic is located was opened until 2:00 AM because of the ramadan timings.

I booked for Saturday to Sunday because Saturday was my off and Sunday, I will be closing shift at 5:00 PM so I have enough time to prepare for work. We booked thru http://www.booking.com for Bahi Ajman Palace which costs 417 aed for 1 night..

This is the room, it looks clean and bigger than the usual standard room. It also has bathtub in the toilet. The hotel has its private pool and beach.

It was a hot weather when we arrived and good thing that there was a Turkish Ice Cream booth at the pool side area.

The down part was the beach. I don’t like it because it was very far from what is posted from the website. It was not attractive at all and looks dirty. But still, we enjoyed our stay because of the outdoor pool.

We stayed for two hours outside despite of the hot weather.

Taking a dose of vitamin “SEA” is a must for me every now and then to relax.

After our great time in swimming, we had our dinner at Galaxy Grand Restaurant that was just opposite of the hotel.

They offered this Arabic Biryani which was really good. I liked it because the spices were not that strong like the Indian Biryani.

The following day we just had our breakfast at the hotel and went back to Dubai since I have work at late in the afternoon.

In general, I enjoyed our staycation because the hotel services were good but I think I will not be coming back in Ajman area for beaches because it didn’t amaze me.
